Weapons, Backrooms, & Obsession Turn into Horror Buying and selling Playing cards
Certainly one of horror’s most recognizable artists is placing his personal twisted spin on three of 2026’s largest style movies.
Alex Pardee has unveiled three new entries in his Rabid Rookies Collection 1 buying and selling card line, parodying Weapons, Backrooms, and Obsession with grotesque, over-the-top character artwork that appears like a cross between classic Rubbish Pail Children and trendy horror fandom.
The trio contains:
- “Principal Miller” — impressed by Weapons
- “Captain Clark” — impressed by Backrooms
- “Freaky Nikki” — impressed by Obsession
Every blind-bagged card is a restricted version of 650 copies, with 450 Base Editions and 200 uncommon chase variants randomly inserted into sealed packs.
The chase variants are themed after every movie:
- “7 Sizzling Canine” variant (Weapons)
- “Discovered Footage” variant (Backrooms)
- “Bloody” variant (Obsession)
Every card comes sealed inside a magnetic collector case, with consumers receiving both the usual model or one of many rarer chase editions at random. Freaky Nikki is moreover restricted to six per buyer.
Pardee has by no means been shy about celebrating horror by way of his unmistakable artwork model, and these newest Rabid Rookies proceed that custom.
With Weapons, Backrooms, and Obsession all rising as a few of the 12 months’s largest horror speaking factors, it’s becoming that they’ve now joined Pardee’s rising lineup of collectible horror spoofs. Get them organized right here.
